
The Growing Communities Healthcare Alliance was created to help ensure that Ontarians living in rapidly-growing communities have access to quality healthcare as close to home as possible.
The Growing Communities Healthcare Alliance represents 12 community hospitals including a mental health facility in Ontario’s fastest growing communities in: Durham, Halton, Peel, York and the communities of Kitchener, Waterloo, Barrie can Cambridge. Combined, these facilities deliver acute and chronic care to over 4 million Ontarians representing 25 per cent of Ontario’s population.
